These 5 day a week ride alongs are the stooges way of trying to keep people focused and working while this Takeda thing is happening. These idiots couldn’t lead if they had too. Don’t they realize all their poor decisions, refusing to listen to the field and surrounding themselves with people who only tell them what they want to hear and stroke their egos have got them to this point????

How many GLINT surveys do you need? Shires failure over the last 5 years is on leadership.

Having your RD in your offices brings no value. At most other companies RD’s do half days and then you sit down and analyze the business and the RD actually is involved in strategizing. Not like the RD’s here where they are clueless. Most RD’s are just managers not leaders. Most of my HCP’s don’t like my RD.
 






This is absolutely crazy! I don't have a RD at this time, so I wonder how this is going to work. This is the first I've heard of this, so does this mean your RD is with you five days or just in the field 5. Please tell me the latter.

I became a regional director with the premise I would be getting an office day on Fridays. I could catch up on emails, do my and my reps expense reports and honestly relax a little after traveling four days of the week riding with my reps. This is not only disappointing for you reps but we are not happy about it either. Obviously I will be riding with my reps 5 days a week now because I need a job. Just know that our input was not asked for. I agree with a previous poster that this decision stems from the prospective sale of the company and Perry and other leadership want to make sure we stay focused. Very out of touch with reality

It's idiotic moves like THIS that continue to screw up access to offices and destroy the ability to have meaningful discussions with doctors. And the timing is even more idiotic. There are 7 to 9 weeks of school left around the country. Brilliant to put on a full court press and put up the pressure when 75% of pediatric ADHD patients won't be back in the doctors offices until August. That's a recipe for disaster for pediatric reps. Even the majority of the adult territories have huge amount of pediatric patients.
Wake up you morons. End the adult/PED split! Even the overlay model was more effective than this idiocy.
 






Very simple solution to all of you in the NBU you who are complaining about this sound business decision. If you don't like it. Quit. Find a new job. We don't need you here and will be successful with or without you.
 






when a manager wants to get rid of a rep- what do they do? They start riding with them all the time

Consider yourselves warned —-this is about as unsubtle a warning as can come—everyone will be gone managers and reps alike..start making plans to get out now!

If they wanted to keep you fools —-they would be rolling out retention bonus plans——there is none of that.

NBU is not needed or wanted.

They are simply padding their resume's. See, the more teams, people, zones, RD's under them, the more powerful they look after they lose their jobs soon. This has become their own playground. Want their Business Unit to look the largest for personal reasons only.
