Blue states have higher vaccination rates thus ditching masks makes sense. The entire aim was not to punish people but keep hospitals from becoming overwhelmed with unvaxxed deplorables who take up room from other situations such as car accidents, heart attacks etc. what is wrong with people like you who can’t extrapolate reasons for doing such things as vax and masks mandates.
