You know what was a great 1st-in-class drug? Bovine insulin. In 1923.
I think the later generations have, however, made somewhat minor improvements.

Market access struggles? Levemir, Tresiba, and Victoza are covered better than every other product in their class.
FDA pushbacks? Ozempic approved; FiAsp approved; Xultophy approved; CV data in the Victoza label approved.

Check your numbers. After the Silverscript change, Levemir has the best national coverage and Tresiba is second. You're going to have to make up some new excuse now.
