one is new and that is the one we will be selling, selling
we are giving medicines money they need for today and we are gaining a 10 year income stream and the cost per rep vs revenue just dropped 15%

ps we get paid to work and sell whatever they give us. liking it isnt in our contract and no i am not a fan

Good luck getting anything past materials if there is something cheaper in the same class. I come from device and it's even harder than pharmacy now. This will be a nightmare!
 












I do have a device background. I didn't sell wires but I was in the cathlab selling a closure device. I don't get why you have to be such a jackass. All I'm saying is that it's very hard to get a product in through materials. Most pharma. reps have never done this nor do they have these relationships. Your a prick. I hope you sell lots of thrombin. Surgeons could give a shit what product they use.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. This is terrible news and who wants to be in the OR all the time? YUCK! If one product isn't challenging enough and now they think reps will be happy with responsibility for 4? This company is clueless to how difficult it is to get anything through materials mgt. This will be a fucking nightmare.

Im happy to see a few others agree. MM will be a nightmare. This is going to be a cluster fuck. Terrible decision. Desperate attempt to give this division something else to sell. Let's see what comp plan we get for this shit!
 






Recothrom has been out for years and sold by Zymo, Bayer, medicines co now Mallincrocdt. Most pharmacies have already looked at this class a number of times and for the most part surgeons if asked couldn't tell you what thrombin they are getting bovine, RhThrombin or human. Bovine still has up in 60's % market share, we will literally have to discount by 45-50% to get anyone at the system, hospital level to even consider and yes good luck trying get a sealant over Ethicon or baxter
 






We cannot compete with Baxter or JnJ. Those guys have real relationships with surgeons!! They are partners. Don't forget we sell Acetaminophen. There are also other companies in this market. This will suck!! I promise. Time to run out of here!!!

Totally agree! These people are so so so stupid and have absolutely no idea what the climate is like. Now will be the time to head out of dodge. I for one was hoping to get a great product because I love Ofirmev and will to hold on. But I won't for these products that won't even be able to compete. What a horrible decision. These people are so stupid. They can pat themselves on the back if they want, but buying a product is the easiest thing to do but they can't even buy a great product as they wouldn't be able to compete for it.

Don't forget most can't step foot in the OR and the company doesn't have the expertise for training. In addition, the fact that Ofirmev is in the mix will also be a factor where hospitals will block access. These people that were responsible for buying this trio product package are fools. They probably offered Malli a 3 for 1 deal. Gosh what a joke.
 






I applaud MNK for the purchase. It has been too many months without MNK making horrible decisions on a regular basis. I hope this is an an example of them getting back to form.
Thrombin. Sounds like an untapped potential in sales. sky is the limit. Cant raise the price on that. I smell organic growth all the way.
