25% of the sales force hit quota including managers and reps this month. What a joke this company is. unrealistic quotas and intake is slow to get authorizations so we get paid. Im applying to jobs tonight. I can't deal
With this bullshit and not getting paid. Bob Greene and Barry are the worse leaders yet. Stupid idiots have no solutions or backbone. They can't even fake it.

This company is a joke. No one even says anything when most people didn't make quota. Barry is the worst. Bob seems better than Barry but this place is a freakin joke. How does no one see this??
 












This place is totally unreal. Policies are utterly nonsense, change on management's whim, and are NEVER based on what TMs need or customers demand. This place is a sinking ship. Japanese company needs to clean house and start over with professionals who have ACTUAL experience with this type of company - not people who have just been here a long time. I can't believe they are able to hire anyone at this point. I just accepted another offer - thank God - and my recruiter said their firm dropped zoll's account long ago. Said they got too many complaints from their placements about how they were lied to during interviews, never coming close to making commission.
 












Their vacation plan is the most pitiful answer to seasonal changes in demand I've ever seen. Just one more piece of evidence of how nonsensical the management is here. Meanwhile, we are the ones forgoing commission because of their inability to build a comp plan that takes seasonal demand into account.
 






PTO in PPM is ridiculous and my AD harasseses my RM about us entering it and my RM thus harasses me even THOUGH I know my RM thinks it's horse shit but won't admit it. ZOLL upper management is a joke. My RM stays because they don't want to go back to pharma but I can tell he's losing his patience with the insane rules and direction and he's run out of excuses for reimbursement and sales operations with the bullshit distribution of systems. If things don't change soon there is going to be ANOTHER mass exodus for both tm's and rms - did you hear that Bob Greene? Looks like you are going to have a problem on your hands that your bad haircut and jeans ain't fixing.

AMEN. I know my RM is dying inside too. I try to take it easy on him, but there is no one else to call at night and on weekends when people inside refuse to help me. As bad as my job is, I can't imagine doing his job. I know he is looking for the next job - we all are.

I'm confused. Why did you come here in the first place? Didn't you read the posts? Didn't you listen to the people who told you that Zoll would lie to you in the interview? What part of everyone telling you what was real did you not get. You get what you deserve as you didn't listen to mass amounts of people who had your job before you.

Everyone is looking except upper management. They have zero AD experience and they run top performers to another job. They hire RM's with zero experience yet ignor dedicated TM's who want and deserve a chance! This place needs leadership with experiense, not promoting to incompetence! Bring one CHANGE Jason!!!

I agree this needs to start operating like more of a True Pharma company and less like the CRM companies it's emulating - change is a coming
 












How are the 25% managing to meet goal?

There is a protected group of sales people that manage a book of business that is too large to mess with them. They are the ones who will never miss quota, and ZOLL will make sure that's the case. When we level set a while back I listened to a VP of sales say, (even though the idea was that we all were expected to grow since we are resetting every ones quota), "there are those of you on this call who won't need to grow for 6 months and you'll still hit quota". The VP was basically saying I don't want to hear any complaining from them that their quota had been adjusted up. I had a rep who had built a business and was growing like crazy, double digit MO's with room to grow. They adjusted that person way up due to that persons recent success, and they never hit quota again. That person left and the territory feel apart. The Dr's were angry another ZOLL rep quit, and that territory has never come close to doing what it did before. Since that rep left that territory has had 3 TM's come and go. If you aren't part of the protected group of TM's here at ZOLL...well you know the rest of the story.
 






You forgot to say Male or Minority protected, see so much crap being done, special favors for special few, reduction in quotas, trials for "special TM"s", money spent on "special events or ideas", all the while some of us go and work and have to deal with all the crap sent down from above. How's that LifeVest Cup Contest going??? To the AD's who show favoritism to a few, the the VP who has no clue what is going on on his area, shame on you, your time will come, you cannot PIP and fire everyone, even though we know your objective is to only have people with less experience and years at Zoll than you do, so you can be looked up to, but it will never happen as your area sees through you. Inexperience is killing this company, we just hired a new sales trainer who has experience in pain management. I for one need pain management therapy after all the terrible leadership! Bring I the patch baby!!
