You mean as in inside sales reps or ISRs? Yeah they’ve had them for years. They also typically only have 1 rep per territory not this 3-5 per account garbage. If anything Pfizer picked it up from Exact. You’ve got it backwards bud.
 




They have an inside sales team and a sales force that works out in the field. Most companies do this. Pfizer is the only one yanking reps back out of the field and pushing for this fully virtual shit. This madness is confined to one company- Pfizer.
 




If your customers are open to reps, and the venues are open with no restrictions, and you are not under any local guidance to restrict your movements, you should be able to go out and do your goddamn job. This is simple logic, and it's simplicity no doubt leads to it's demise in this bureaucratic hell that is this company. Thank the fuck Christ for this severance and the ability to find a new job. This place robs you of your dignity and then it takes your soul.

PFE has had ISRs for years, too. If you have 2-3 working years left, you’re all good. In a couple of years, everywhere will look pretty much the same.

You should be happy for the potential to get another severance though.
 












Had an office that I was trying to do a virtual lunch with. No in person allowed. Office manager said they are no longer doing them as the doctor found no value!! And Pfizer thinks VIRTUAL is the way to go. We’re TOAST

Not true
All I ever hear from Exact reps is how worthless the ISRs are . They can't even get anyone on the phone and if anything do more harm than good annoying offices.
They have said Exact knows that F2F interactions no matter who they are with are what drive business. They are sitting home attemvirtue virtual calls

We are. Outside of a couple of academic centers, everyone wants in person. Because you can, you know, answer questions and drop off what they need all at the same time..
