1800 positions gone

They list 183 for New Jersey only. They don't have to list totals for the country. Each state if informed of how many.based on.the laws of that state. As I mentioned as a example Iowa requires companies that downsize more than 25 people, to give 30 days prior notice to.them. Again each state has different requirements. I also called one of last years reps downsized to verify their termination date.It was 2/7/2011The same date listed in The New Jersey dept. Of labors website. They list this years date as 2/1/2012. I'm just passing along public information. Also check with your state to see if the information is listed on their website.

Yes, 2/7 was the termination date and 12/2/2010 was the day that everyone found out.
This means the 2/1/2012 the people were notified sometime in late November for the 60 day WARN.

So for instance if Novartis announces all the layoffs on Jan 27, Mar 27 would be the day of termination.

Your either an idiot who got fired or someone who has a big gripe against Novartis.
I sold ReclAst from the start And this helped me get another position in biotech. Smartass
Why don't you try posting something constructive instead of searching for some rogue website where people complain. You will find one of these for any drug on the market my friend.

You know there has already been deaths with Reclast. Interesting is our competitor had to bring it up & then Novartis decided they should let the FF know about it. I thought we were suppose to be "fair & balanced" with our data. I guarantee had the competition not brought this up, novartis would of never said a thing.

How sad you are a janitor at a biotech co & find a need to post here . Why ? unfullfilled ?
must be all those poor old women suffering from this horrible infusion that results in pain & agony when biophospho's are already generic & CHEAP .
Grab a broom & get back to work . Post on your own phantom 'biotech' company
Reclast sucks ass with horrible side effects & adverse reations that cause patient suffering
Pray for forgiveness from those victimes while you're at it

Just FYI... I have been on Reclast for 2 years. My bmd went from -2.4 to -1.0. The first time I had it I felt bad for a day. The next time I did not even know I had taken it. It works. Maybe you should check it out with the people who actually take it before you blast gross generalizations - idiot!

People die taking every drug out there. Unless there is a definite link which there is not otherwise Reclast would have been taken off the market, you shouldnt speculate

Remember Zelnorm! As soon as the info was out, the drug was pulled cause they knew it was Zelnorm. FDA would have taken Reclast off the market if it was shown to cause death

I didn't speculate, just stated that the company has us do all this I-Learn stuff on "fair & balance", & yet keeps things from the sales force. We should be informed & prepared when our doctors ask us about the deaths linked to one of our drugs.

Technically they have already announced "head count reduction" back in October, they don't have to be specific as to who, so as long as it was announced... We have been recieving communication on layoffs for awhile, tekturkey being pulled just increased the number of heads to roll, and pushed the date up!

You and all the other morons that are talking bad about Reclast, it's clear you have CV products and you know your the first to go! Nocartis will keep the reps who launched Reclast and have relationships... The process of all reimbursement and all its technicalities is to difficult to learn quickly, by the time you understand what the hell is going on in your territory, Reclast will go generic!

The 60 days starts from the official notification. It will all be spelled out in your package
Everything is just "talk" until it is absolutely announced and this will probably be by the end of the month

Re-read the initial post because you missed the point completely. The point was that the company keeps this information from us & brags about being "fair & balanced". But as soon as our customers start asking ( cause our competition tells them) then Novartis decides to tell us. They knew all along, just like they've known about the negative data on Tekturna for some time.

And yes i sell reclast!!!!
