12 Year Old Arrested

Golf Ball-->fingerprints--->bad choice though very effective.

My niece keeps a small bucket of pennies for tailgaters---effective but again possibility of fingerprints.

I've done the penny thing also for tailgaters - toss them right out of the sun roof and watch them crack off the offenders hood.

And it keeps coming. Sorry, but I think they need arrested for that shit.

Agree..I read in another article that Rebecca's bullies did NOT have access to her facebook..they hacked into it. There's no way they had her cell phone number either so someone else had to have given it up--police should go after that person, too. Anyone having anything to do with this should be pursued...treat it like a homicide.

It's BS and not backed up by any tangible facts - It is just another right wing rag opinion by an over religious person who has no credibility on this subject. The author's background reads: Kelly McBride - Kelly spent 14 years covering saints and sinners in Spokane, Wash. Now she's at Poynter, searching for the soul of American journalism.

Epic fail by Kelly McBride and the rubes who believe what she writes.

Yes, I know it's troublesome to have politically correct myths exposed. There is none so blind as those who will not see.

A few years ago, I was driving at night with the radio on and lo and behold, a program sponsored by (Quote/unquote) Cristian scholars came on. I listened and they presented this idea: If there is a god, why couldn't he have used 'evolution' as his way of creating (vs the shazam! finger pointing method). A few years ago, I posted this idea right here. P Ho agreed with me. This seems to bring it ALL together! Maybe we're all saying the same thing just using different words? Any problems with that?

No, but then what you are talking about is CREATIONISM and you need to tell your buddies to back off of their snarky remarks about the term.

The point is that science, logic and statistics clearly indicate that blind chance evolution could not be responsible for the world we see around us. An evolutionary process guided by God could. Join me in that camp and tell your buds to back off and we're cool. I'm not necessarily wedded to
a literal 6 day creation theory, though even that is intellectually respectable.

You're hung up on labels. I'm not talking about anything that needs to be labeled to fit in someone's schemata. I was simply relating a concept I heard on the radio by some 'alleged' Christian scholars.

We are here. Either there is an underlying purpose or there isn't. If you argue creationism, then I argue, "Who created the creator"? etc, etc. That is as enigmatic as the concept of the laws of physics leading to the binding of atoms and molecules resulting in the formation of simple cells that led to what we now label as life. Equally hard to understand but to me, more logical.

I personally think the way we got here is much more complex than any of us could comprehend. So I don't bother to try. I savor the moment, cherish my loved ones and try to live a good life without intentionally hurting anyone.

And tell my 'buddies' how to think? That's funny................ telling people how to think is your style. How's it workin' for ya? If it works for you, cool but don't lay it on me. And my style works for me so I won't burden you with it. It's all a big puzzle and I intend to enjoy the ride.

I'm not hung up on labels, you're engaging in sloppy thinking because you aren't focused on the meaning of words enough. The point I was making was that the method of creation doesn't alter the fact that it is indeed creation if a CREATOR was involved. If you were going to be this way, why did YOU even bring up the topic?

And no, it is not more logical to believe that the first cause was an intelligence rather than just matter which somehow, against everything that man has ever witnessed, just started to organize itself magically. Probability tells us that the chance of that happening approaches absolute ZERO. You want to go with that? Fine, but the last thing that is is logical or fact-based. It's why I have said that nothing requires more blind faith than believing in Darwinian evolution. NOTHING.

As for telling your buddies what to think, it had the exact effect that I planned. It exposed that you really weren't going to be serious and consistent concerning the concept you brought up. It works great for me, btw!
