1099 Sales Position

Any thoughts on this company? Is there potential to make money?

Not much money here. Churn and burn through customers. Get an account and lose two accounts. It's constant keeping your head above water. Growth is limited and fleeting.

The only reason reps churn and burn through customers is they never provide value to the accounts after the sale. This is why VI doesn’t want 1099 reps anymore. 1099’s are just there to make a sale and move on. VI is now only hiring W2 reps and now getting some injectable Reps’s who are doing way better than 1099 counterparts. There could be money here for the right person. This job is not for everyone but I’ve made over $150k in bonus alone at this company.

There is NO WAY you make 150k in bonus. The owners are too cheap to give that kind of money away. They are lucky to have only a few territories bit the $500k in sales mark...that's before cost of goods sold so cut it in half, which leave $250K...so you are letting me they are going to give the reps $150k of that, plus salary? No way!!!

1099 reps get 20% of all sales. So a million dollar territory you’d be making $200k bonus. There’s lots of territories close to a million. W2 reps salaries are around $100-$130k depending on experience and you’d get 12% of sales if you hit your quota.
So let’s say you have a $120 base and a million dollar territory you can make $120k bonus plus your $120k salary. So reps making total comp of around $200-$250k is about right. Top earners with the 1,5milliom territories are making $300k plus. It’s a bread and butter sales role. They are hiring better talent now and seem to be getting traction with more injectable offices and hiring more and more experienced injectable reps.
