This is definitely true! During their residency it is preached to them to completely avoid anyone from the sales department of any pharmaceutical company because we do not present non-biased information, which we don’t. In just a very few years physicians will have at their fingertips all the information they could possibly need to treat patients on an iPad device to include test results, suggested diagnosis, insurance information/formulary coverage for their insurance plan, etc. All of this is because of AI. It will be constantly be updated. The need for certain specialists will cease to exist. Mid levels will dominate. It’s all coming faster than you think.

Very true. Pharma reps and many on brand teams and managed markets will be among those getting a guaranteed minimum income, all because of AI. Welcome to progress.

I lost my dignity decades ago! I will tell the docs anything to continue getting my paycheck. I don’t care if it’s the truth or not, just show me the money! Retirement is very close, and I should make it. If you are young, you are a fool to think there is a chance you will retire from this industry. AI will change everything.
