Joaquin, your message was empty.

FVP Joaquin Martinez (Sales) and DJ Sethares (Marketing) just got fired today. This is the right move by James to regain trust but we need Vaccine experience leadership now to right this ship. Get Pharma out of the VBU now!!!!

75% of the VBU needs to go. Bunch of lazy losers waiting for GSK retirement time to come up. Worse culture ever with an unbelievable sense of entitlement when they have not produced anything in years. The VBU has not delivered results in years. The market access team delivered the Arexvy launch. The ecosystem model was build to take out the losers and let the small percentage of those who have a clue remain to deliver at 20% of the expense. One thing is right VBU does not need stupid reach and frequency but that is pushed by GSK global leadership who can’t spell United States.

Thank you for your parting words to the VBU, Joaquin. We all wish you the absolute worst moving forward.

For a company

A 75% reduction seems overly drastic; a 50-60% cut is a more realistic target, one that would foster a more efficient and accountable business unit given our portfolio and available opportunities. It's time to move on from the VBU 'walking dead' and rebuild a dynamic, high-performing team. Furthermore, other GSK business units should focus on hiring external talent rather than individuals with entitlements and limited contributions.
