A mandate is not needed, as common sense should tell you that being vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself and help play your part in putting this pandemic behind us. But if you need a business reason, ponder this: offices are starting to ask for proof of vaccination in order for access to be granted. And larger health systems will be at the forefront of this request. Not enough independent practitioners to write off the larger systems, so you won't be getting too far into the territory without vaccination proof. And as you state, other companies are starting to require it because it keeps their employees safe and protects their organizations reputation which is why we are seeing companies mandate it.

Kowa will lose great employees if they mandate a vax. There are many of us who have had Covid and have natural immunity.
A study from Israel, among others, found that naturally acquired immunity is more effective than vaccines at preventing you from reacquiring COVID-19.
I know for a fact there are 3 of us on my team alone who would quit over a mandate. Right before a launch it’s not a good idea to upset your top performers.

Did you miss Biden’s announcement of a vaccine mandate? It’s out of Kowa’s hands. You Must be vaccinated if you work for a company with more than 100 employees. I’d start writing that resignation letter…
 





















The big question I have is how 350 people are going to manage squeezed together in Texas. Elevators, breakout rooms? I’m aware that outside of my region, the Northeast, many do not wear masks and are unvaccinated.
