Job Openings

Hello,
There are a lot of new job openings at Kendle. I have been recently contacted by Kendle for one of the positions. I was reading about the layoffs last year and the 10% pay cut. Does anyone know if this is still going on? Is Kendle doing better? Is it worth going through the interview process?
I am just worried the layoffs aren't done and this is just a sinking ship. Please if someone could be honest and not vengeful in their response. The economy is bad for everyone right now but if Kendle can come out of this with the right help and hire the right people it might be worth giving them a shot.

Thank you

I don't work there, but I have a good friend that is a Sr. CRA at Kendle. Morale is low. There seems to be random layoffs that keep everyone on edge. Per my friend, the current staff is stretched and people are looking to leave. It could be that the staffing corrections are over, but that feeling has not filtered down.

One story I heard: A few years ago, there was an orientation session that Ms. C. Kendle was presenting at - at that time Kendle was all about work-life balance and how important family is. At that orientation session, a newly hired CRA had to take a personal call before the start of the session - something to do with his wife expecting - well since he was late Ms. C. Kendle fired him on the spot....

Stay away of you can help it. Bad financial situation. Candace's home is worth over $5M but you won't see a penny of it.

I don't work for Kendle but have had multiple collaborations with this company. SC is a total jerk. They promote Kendle to be one of the 5 best CROs worldwide. Clearly this is just their opinion.
A) they forced employees to take voluntary leave to avoid lay-offs
B) they hire entry level CRAs without adequate training
C) turn-over is high and morale is low
D) they have the worst finance and legal dept ever

Their scientific/medical folks are a joke
