Take control people

It amazes me how much power everyone gives Eisai and the leadership over the direction of their lives. To lay blame that this person or that person is messing with your family is silly. If you are so concerned about your family than take action and find alternatives. Oh wait, let me guess, there aren't any, right? I am in the top 15% and am blowing out Halaven yet I have prepared that I will be let go. I don't have time to blame anyone and I know I will not give Eisai the power to feel that they determine my success. This will be the best thing that happens to people. Take this as an opportunity to do something different with your life. Stop acting like a victim.

Same here. Eisai is not the only company in the industry. There are others that have more to offer. You must take the initiative and network to find out about all opportunities that are and will become available. You are in sales, so go sell yourself out to a better alternative.

We are all doing that! Almost everyone here has a resume out. People want to make sure that they are taking OB down while they are going down themselves. OB has lied to us for years and now he needs to pay a price too.

Chasing the snake that bit you only moves the poison through you faster. He's not worth it and your rants on Cafe Pharma are not what is going to get OB out of his position. Put your energy to more worthwhile causes.

Are you sure you are not OB? Because if I was OB, I would use your lines to divert attention from my troubles. Why are you so obsessed with defending OB? hasn't he screwed you enough?

Amen! Great advice and something I've been saying to employees of this abberation of a business since I got there. The leadership are a bunch of incompetent idiots. Just look at how poorly they've managed the company over just the last two years. Who hires a new president to clean up the mess LC has created, only to fire said new president 18 months later? How could anyone trust their judgment about anything?

Take control people is so right!

It's almost laughable: outside people were brought in to fix problem at the top and throughout key department (don't know if they were the right choice or not). Said people want to change things as they were asked to do, but the internal people don't really want change of status quo, which was the cause of problems to begin with, so lots of firings of "outsiders" within a short time. So with more of the same at the top we'll get more of the same - continued decline of a sick body.

So much potential for a company squandered. I look at the leadership here and there seems to be a lack of accountability. The themes of arrogance toward reps and lack of courtesy in returning emails or calls from reps regarding matters of HHC or ideas for improving current systems is very disappointing. This behavior toward reps seems to be consistent throughout the country. So much for the employees being a company's greatest resource.

So what potential is squandered? Not much that I see.

Well said. The continued decline of a sick body whose mission is hhc--ironic indeed. The status quo must change now if they even distantly dream of saving what little is left of this carcass. Legacy senior management should be ashamed of themselves but we all know they're not. Their arrogance and lack of accountability will come full circle. In fact, it already has.

$13 million dollars on McKinsey for what?

I doubt it was $13 million, maybe $2 million spent on McKinsey but so what. What's your point? Do you think LC is going to say sorry, I'm a clueless CEO. All employees are at the mercy of their CEO making decisions. If you don't like it, leave. That simple. If you have no other options because nobody else would hire you then do something productive.
