HHS to probe whether Google’s ‘Project Nightingale’ followed federal privacy law

A federal regulator is investigating whether the federal privacy law known as HIPAA was followed when Google (GOOGL) collected millions of patient records through a partnership with nonprofit hospital chain Ascension.
