FDA Approves UTILITY’s New Antibiotic for Uncomplicated UTI in Women

The FDA on Wednesday approved the use of UTILITY therapeutics’ oral antibiotic pivmecillinam, which will now carry the brand name Pivya, for the treatment of adult women with uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
