Baxter gets 510(k) clearance for syringe pump, spurring optimism of faster FDA review process

Baxter has received 510(k) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration for its Novum IQ syringe infusion pump (SYR) with Dose IQ Safety Software, opening up a new market that J.P. Morgan analysts value at as much as $200 million.
