Seagen’s co-founder Clay Siegall, Ph.D., has been put on a leave of absence after an alleged incident of domestic violence that happened at his home.
As Siegall steps aside, Seagen has named its chief medical officer, Roger Dansey, M.D., as interim CEO, the company said Monday.
Siegall has denied the allegations and told Seagen he’s in the process of a divorce. The company’s board has gathered independent directors and has tapped an independent law firm to help run an investigation into the accusation.
