Merck to move global headquarters, returning to an old home

Merck is moving its global headquarters — slightly.

After five years at Schering-Plough’s old 100-acre campus in Kenilworth, the company announced plans to transition its base to its 210-acre site in Rahway. The two New Jersey towns are less than 10 miles apart. The move, quietly announced in the company’s Q1 and reported on by ROI–NJ, is slated to be completed by 2023.
