Just business opportunity and geography of Rep. Sorry i know you're looking for some reason for a law suit but there is nothing there. Its a typical Co. down sizing we read about every day.
 






ZS does the mapping, and then it goes to HR.....That way it takes any look of impropriety (sorry you loonies who think you can sue) out of the equation. Your wife is a lawyer.........The Swiss might have a few lawyers laying around as well.
 






some criteria can be performance rating, tenure with the company, tenure in role.

If they reduce the number of territories and it results in two people living in the same territory, it can be who lives closest to the majority of the business / potential as the person retained.

With a small reorganization, the later is the most likely scenario. It comes down to being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
 






one more thing, if it’s a metro area and the reps live equa-distance to the majority of business, it could default to the other criteria.

If still tied after assessing for those, it’s a flip of a coin.
