I was told last night that in about 2 months a large number of Zimmer reps will be let go. If you work for Zimmer Dental, now is the time to start looking around. Don't say you were not warned.
 












Anyone in the bottom half of the rankings at either company needs to be looking for a job. At least 1/3 of you will be out of work when the merger goes through. And with 3i leadership being put in charge, that doesn't bode well for the Zimmer underperforming reps.

It also means the 3i comp plan is likely to be used in 2016 and beyond.

After careful consideration, the company has made the difficult decision to consolidate the Dental headquarters locations from Carlsbad, California and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida into the Palm Beach Gardens location – pending close of the Zimmer Biomet merger. The Carlsbad and Palm Beach Gardens site integration will start immediately, with an anticipated Carlsbad headquarters closure in twelve months.

Not soon enough. I wonder if the current 3i management will survive. They do not impress me one bit.

No one was disciplined. HR and Management were adament none of the actions were unethical. All this time later managers still help reps make goal by any means possible. Mutually beneficial relationships with hospitals and doctors were common then and nothing has changed. This is a desperate business. Everyone has a boss and not making goal is worse than breaking a law. Biomet understands all they have to do is pay people off and hire attorneys and there is no real consequence. Don't you want to be headquartered in Fl and have NO rules?

Pacer.gov gives everyone access to all cases. Do a general search. There's a small fee to view the entire document with doctors, employees , dates etc. The case may be closed but it offers you a glimpse of business as usual. Nothing happened when the case was first filed! Nothing changed within the company since then. And one Region only was under the spotlight . The entire culture was exactly as you read.

88 pages. This is about half a page. Yes it's all available online. Current reps will have a hard time adjusting to new rules and selling on value. Nothing has changed. The company at all levels only understands retaliation. If this is how you sell then stick around.

• For a $30000 order-Dr___ was given $20000 worth of cash, goods and free services . kickbacks nationwide as part of its established business model.”
• Rock concerts, cigars.
• For example a provider who ordered 200 implants would receive $100000 in free implants and equipment
• In an effort to disguise practices of providing kickbacks to induce the sale of products, reps are encouraged to offer medical providers checks made out to them directly to and improperly characterized as “education grants.”
• Dr__ and Dr__ were both given payments for converting their business from a competitor.

• Trips for surgeons include hotel, air, meals, golf, fishing, spa
• Dr ___ received free trips to resort for brother and sister in law
• The payments for ___ were actually kickbacks intended to retain and encourage Dr ___ business.
