Zimmer Foot and Ankle

So what's the bottom line here? Know Zimmer is a quality company. Interviewing for foot and ankle. Any insight? Think it's a "me too" but would like any quality insight. Thanks. Save the BS comments,

Zimmer has invested a lot in the F&A space in he last year. The bag is pretty good but still growing. Still behind Stryker (Epically once the Wright Medical acquisition closes), but you can compete with their plates, screws, other commodities, and on not being a douche. The way Stryker reps behave turns many surgeons (especially DPMs) off, so you will have a good opportunity to get those conversions.

Direct of distributorship matters too. Some distributors are better than others. Lone wolf or team matters as well, hard to compete if you are on a poor team. The bag and company are good, just make sure the people you are working with and for are competent and align with your goals and values.

Kentucky, O/S are the worst in “leaders” distributors in the country. Lead like Hitler. All fun and game until you don’t agree with them... then it’s off with your head.

Stryker has some major compliance issues associated with their supplier and their registrar BSI, it is documented evidence that many of their products specially torque wrenches were not validated for proper sterility certainly if physicians would know of this issue certainly reconsider using the Zimmer Product lines . However Zimmer itself may also have compliance related issues that may reflect the same for them similar to Stryker . they may in fact have the same company as their ISO :13485 registrar which could eventually complicate things further
