Does anyone know who the young Lilly Diabetic Rep that took his own life this past week. I believe he was from Cincinnati area but was working in the Detroit area?
in the past 5 years there has been a high amount of reps that have, sadly, taken their own life.
He was new to the group and was being mentored by different reps in the area. Each focusing on a different aspects of their territory. The job is hard enough and being stressed with difficult reps didn’t help.in the past 5 years there has been a high amount of reps that have, sadly, taken their own life.
Very sad. Not sure if this has anything to do with their individual management but we've had a few sadistic ones that could drive an unstable person to desperation. HR, do you want this on your hands? Do you job and get rid of the offenders and stop hiring more.
Absolutely true! Worked in this industry for over 30 years and was constant bullying. The original posting makes me very sad....and angryWe all know that any sign of weakness makes you a target. Any sign of having the ability to think independently makes you a target. The goal of every company is to crush the very soul of anyone who dares to challenge the status quo, or to question unethical or illegal activities.
Sue them! Don’t dare quit...you’re worth more than quitting ... we’ll be supporting you!I blame the managers. I'm in the Diabetes unit and sadley have to agree with previous posters. Many managers in the DBU are seriously crazy. They micromanage and pick apart every single little thing you do. They never give you a second to yourself. They do this until it drives you mad, until you think about it all day every day, including the weekends. They care about nothing but lashing those whips and slave driving you. Nothing makes them happy. I'm at the point where I'm quitting soon or sueing soon
why does it matter you heartless sack of crap! asking people on cafepharma means you’re just digging for gossip. Go to hell!
