Hello lil ones:
I wanted to tell you that you WILL be alright without the golden handcuffs of Shire. I was there for years and made the decision to leave for greener pastures. I know Shire, I know what it takes to get hired and it's that fire in the belly, that go getem mentality. You guys were chosen to be part of Shire because you were the best of the best. As such, you just need to dust yourselves off and look at what you have to offer. There ARE jobs out there. I wish you all the best and remember GOD is your PROVIDER, Shire was just a PROVISION.

Great post, you WILL survive. I left Shire's ADHD division sometime between 1 day ago and 75 days ago. My base salary went up $20,000 and in my 1st month I closed two deals that pay $5,000 commission on top. Nobody on my new sales team has less than a $500,000 house.

I encourage people to pursue careers in a NEW business environment. After your 1st sale you will feel what you were missing out on. It's the adrenaline rush that inspires natural focus that we all tried to find by taking Vyvanse just to stay excited and focused! Why would anybody want to take Vyvanse to do a sales job? How many of us did this? It's disgusting, that drug isn't for people with college degrees that have been successful in past sales careers!

Natural dopamine and norepinephrine is found where pen meets paper and a real sale is made.

Come find it with me.

Good post. It's so true about taking Vyvanse or Adderall to stay focused on this job. My guess is at least half the sales force takes vyvanse
 






Yes YOU WILL ALL BE OK!

I left Shire a couple of months ago and it was very hard because of all the years I put into my job. I really liked working for Shire, but getting beat up by my RD on a regular basis, and getting the short end of the stick when it came to horrible coverage made me want to RUN fast.

Although it was a hard decision, I got offered several jobs, and the one I chose offered me 12,000 more than the base I was making at Shire and I was guaranteed to make at least 40,000 in bonus by the end of the year. I have been doing very well and YES, the GRASS is GREENER and if you have your brag book together, you too will find something much better than Shire....
