Im sure the last few weeks have been very hard for many of you. By now some of you may feel like Quest is not the answer. There are options out there. Don't give up. I hope this thread does not end up like the others which are filled with silly comments and trash talk. I'm sending this because I have been there. I know the feeling. Don't give up. Look to your spouse and your kids. That's what really matters. It's just a job. There are options out there.

Very well stated. Recruiters have been very active as they work to fill jobs with Solstas talent. Keep resumes up to date and network like crazy. New opportunities await!

Don't fall for the rah-rah feel-good psychology 101 "we're all in this together" baloney from the last two days in Greensboro. Whatever they promise us, just add "for now" to it in your mind and realize that's what we're dealing with.

They don't care about us. Sure everyone technically has a job but we got shafted hard!

You missed my main point. Quest may not be right for you. There are plenty of options out there. Get out if you need to. There are OPTIONS

Hardly….I am in full control of my life an future, and rely on the lab industry for nothing. Now I am sure your follow up will be a crass sophomoric line that makes you feel good. Why God only knows, because the only person impressed with you is you.

Meltdown. Listen pudgy, didn't we show you the door already? There is no room for you on our team. Enjoy the free whoppers with your new employee meal benefit. I recommend you skip the fries though and go with a "diet" soda until you shed those unwanted pounds. Even Burger King has standards for appearance.

This really does have the emotional tenor of a high-schooler hacking Daddy's computer. His only intent is to insult and flame, and not even with grown-up responses. Very strange.

To echo another post. Those with sales and managed care roles as Solstas will be surprised at the opportunities in this sector. I've been there. The impulse is to stay loyal to the company, but now is the time to test your marketability. There are several great recruiters specializing in the clinical laboratory industry, and other social media sources you can leverage.

Oh, Brother. Another has been doling out unwelcome advice to those who are still active in the field. He calls himself a "consultant" now so his kids don't have to be ashamed of his chronic unemployment issues.
