Update that resume! If this was 2 yrs. ago,I would say that you have entered into a great,unique culture! The company has changed dramatically and there is no culture at Takeda anymore. They are buying there way into big pharma and acting like it now.The ship has been sinking for the last year.Look out for yourselves and good luck!!

From Nycomed-US - seems to me anyone now part of the US Takeda "organization" is skating on very thin ice. Didja read the press release? 90-120 days for the transition team to announce their plans. They bought us to increase their presence in the emerging markets - EX-US!!!

Takeda culture really does seem to be suffering - just read some of their posts - huge US layoff last June - ex-US seems to have been left alone - we can only hope the same is true for us

Wonder if you ever actually worked in the manufacturing arena. And by work I mean make the product or work directly in support of the manufacture of a batch. My guess is no, but I could be wrong.

Which guys are you talking about? At this time, there are some very talented and experienced people working in both manufacturing and the support departments and they are trying desperately to be a part of the solution. What are you doing?

Why,is it always the "little people" like you that talk big on cafe,then in person can't back it up!I guess in your case,mommy stopped breast feeding you a little bit too early!

You're kidding, right? Management has fostered a Lord of the Flies-type environment in the Compounding Department for years. It's a veritable orgy of boot-licking, back-stabbing and scalp-taking. Wake up.

You were the one that escalated this post ,not me.I was just sharing some well known info. about Takeda.You were the one that made an asshole out of yourself.Chill out! In less than a year from now, you're gonna wish that Takeda had included Nycomed US in the deal. They're calling Nycomed US a stand-alone company, but in reality it is a fall-alone company. Teva could take over your whole product line without even expanding. I'd actually count on that.
 












These message boards are getting me down. Yes, I know it's an open forum so you CAN say what you want. But that doesn't mean you should.

It's always management sucks, or manufacturing are all idiots, the new people ruined it, the old timers slowly killed it or this person screwed it all up.

The sad part is, there are still a lot of good people there. Old, new and in between. I'm one of them. We work too freakin' hard for all you haters.

You left on your own or were laid off? Good for you. I don't understand the need to post here. Move on.

You still work there and think you know how to fix it? Words here won't help. what are you doing about in your day to day at work? Walk it like you talk it, or walk away.

As for me, I know there is a significant chance the company won't last more than a couple of more years. But I do my best, as do my coworkers. We have lots to do if we stand a chance at all. Let us work on trying to help and you negative people just find something else to do. Bash your new company instead.

Meanwhile the company has made hiring packages more attractive for prospects to attract talent and they are still spending money to improve infrastructure. While not a guarantee of forever, it is a step in the right direction.

I also know we are looking at some outside products to bring in house. Again, no guarantee, but a good sign.

Let's all get to work, do our best to be part of the success of the company.
