you are all so weak

I'd like to first applaud the older ISRG CSR's who actually had to fight to get cases. shoot for the heart and hit the prostate. your job was tough and the days were long. you earned everything you got. pioneers in the field of robotics, truly you are.
My problem is, with the spoiled brats at intuitive now who think cause they work for ISRG they have an entitlement. working for ISRG now is like selling Windows. either you have or you dont doc. really soooo tough. you CSR's have it so bad.. OMG a hospital with out Davinci, id think the tactic of discrace works better then actual clinical evidence.
The reason for my rant is simple. there is nothing special about working for ISRG anymore. you have no hurdles, you have no challenges, the CSR's now are nothing more then SUPER pharma reps. you market a product, but you do it well...
Cheers!

You're right about a small portion of your rant/observation. Hospitals that don't have da Vinci's yet are way behind but will eventually make the investment into their future if they want to stay competitive.

The problem with your comments about our role as CSRs is that you think our accounts lay 10-15 cases per week on a silver platter whether we're there or not and that's it. Incorrect. We have quarterly case quotas that we are responsible and accountable for and that number continues to go up. We are training more and more surgeons and work hard to bring back surgeons that are stalled or just dabble in robotics for their most difficult cases. We are constantly focusing more and more on OR efficiency and regularly meet with administration about ways we can improve the program. The challenges and hurdles are most certainly there and they make it fun to tackle and add real value when we can.

We do have a great product that keeps getting better and better, and hospitals do market those products very well. Our days as CSRs are still long and as we branch into more and more areas of surgery, we will have more lessons to learn and hurdles to jump.

I love me job and love working with the surgeons and team at the hospitals I cover. No day is the same and hitting quota quarter after quarter is an awesome feeling. There is something special about working for Intuitive and many people like myself realize it and its only gonna get better and better. Have a great day and go rant somewhere else.....

Thanks Marketing Department!

It's just a regular rep job at the end of the day. The technology is cool for the first several months, then it becomes a grind just like every other job can. Right around the time the technology excitement fades, management starts hammering down the 25% increases PER QUARTER! Now that the territories are getting smaller you're making even less money than before

"Regular" jobs don't pay 200K+ per year. You poor thing with your "regular rep" job...only clearing 175K these days are ya? Go fuck yourself.

Signed,
The entire hospital staff who actually do something productive for a living while you tools mope around the OR pretending to be physicians.

Why don't you quit and get a rep job then? You sound bitter. Oh well, room 11 needs to be mopped, better get after it.

Ha! Gotta love better hospital staff. You lazy fucks get all pissy when you're asked to grab a freaking towel or spike a bag. You guys bring something productive into the OR?!??! Ha, what a joke, the only thing the majority of you pigs bring in is just a bad attitude. Keep hating and I'll keep making $$$

Hey douche bag, you're the guy I hate all high and mighty thinking you're cool working for ISI. be nice to that OR tech, you'll be his bitch soon when you're looking for another job. Btw...you're not that cool and making that much money only matters for a little while. Trust me, once you pay the taxes on it then look at how hard you had to work for it just to give half of it away, I think you're the stupid one and the OR tech is the smart one. Work on being humble. It's a lot more attractive than what you have going on now
