I left Strativa a few months ago and now I am making 10,000 more in base and have a real sales job in another industry. There are jobs out there that will pay better than Strativa without the crap we put up with here. After a year of abuse with this company, I was shocked when I got a job that I was treated like a grown up. I have a sales support team that handles all the admin stuff and all I do is go out and get the sale. I have a company car and great benefits and make more money. I am grateful and wanted to let my fellow reps know there is life outside of pharma. Btw, I am well over 40, so please dont let anyone tell you that it can't be done.

I know I will get a lot of nasty remarks, but I wish all of you the best.

Real sales job, How does it feel to sell CHARMIN to a grocery store?

The good thing is you do not have to work an actual 8 to 5 job. Best of luck to you, but the people that really want make the cash and work an honest days work have stayed here.
 






If you work under MS like I do, its imperative that you start looking she is horrible!!!!!! Constant Turnover, Turnover, Turnover, Turnover. She does nothing but protect herself. I cant believe we still exist as a company after all the BS we went through over the past year. This place sucks!!!!

What are you smoking??? Do you really think that Par experience is "valued in the industry?" Give me a break. Lets see, if I had a choice to hire a Par trained rep verses a Merck, Pfizer, J&J, BMS, Glaxo, AZ trained rep, which one would I hire? Ask other reps who have gone from major Companies which one they "valued for their experience." If a doctor had a Par rep in their office and a Genentech rep and could only see one, which one would they see? If a pharmacist had to choose talking with a Par rep or a Teva rep, which one would they talk too and which one would they tell to come back another time?

Par is on fire with new products while JJ is tied up in a mfg scandal, merck/glaxo/pfe are has beens and are losing products as patents expire, ranbaxy has contanimation issues etc


Par has 600 employees and 599 are highly motivated and the one and only chump has found a new job for less pay and fewer benefits selling used catheters in Texas

Cant believe how many home office people monitor this board! How are we on fire with the new product? You seen numbers? Or are you reffering to the made up suckcess stories that every manager is begging our reps to send in? This (oravig) is a piece of shit. Dont fool your self. Zuplenz may be better but we arent selling it yet. Par is a stepping stone for 95% of the people who are here. Everyone is looking because of the way this companys SOP treats employees. And I would loveto know what industry you got that job in so we can start sending resumes. Strativa will be belly up at end of year. If our goals,which are ridiculusly high,arent met companywide. Par is gonna ditch us all. The last few years we have lost money, and dragged down EPS and stock price of Par. I have been here longer than most and know this. I thought this may work so I hung around. Continues to go south since Jan10.

I would STRONGLY suggest that you talk with several people inside before you think about moving to Par. If you think Par pays better then you must be making squat with virtually no bonus. If you think our management is better, then your management must not be the micromanagement type, immature DM's and RM's, senior management who could care less about the reps, etc. It would be the worst career move of your life. Have you even read these boards?? While some of this is crap, there is alot of truth to most of it. the person who said that 95% of us are looking for other opportunities and to get out is right on.

Is Greg "the sperm head" Cahill still there in HR. That foul mouth has this board up on his office computer all the time. I think CP is his home page. He is total slime and I hope you guys got rid of him because he is not there to protect the people of par, just himself.

OP here: I am working in food industry. I have a bonus structure and base. Please don't tell me the reason you are here is because you want to work a "honest days work," that is BS and you know it. I expected people like you to poo poo someone that is trying to help other reps that want to leave pharma/Shitiva.
