I know more to be revealed in a couple of days, but surprised no further leaks providing insight on the following...

What years to be used.. 2010-2012 or just 2011 &2012
Is Neuro in own pool or lumped in w/PC?
What will those left have to sell & and for how long? (patch, Tekturna)
How will determine if a territory to be left vaccant.. Volume or potential?

As they did in previous years a vacant position can be filled be a rep from a different locations. Many times thee transplant rep has a long drive to get to the field. They use mapping as a criteria to get rid of reps, but its not taken into consideration to fill an open spot. You will be competing for your position with reps not in you immediate territory.

Ratings used will be 2010, 2011 and 2012. NP in its own pool. Mapping will be weird this year. Depends on #1 how profitable territory is as some will be white spaced.

Great question

Is white space being used in the new realignment or is white space already cut out before consultants did their thing?

If white space is part of existing alignment that changes everything for areas with no counterparts and white space

They are being very vague on the whole what determines "white space" as well as rep criteria used. Seems odd they haven't confirmed what years being used.

He did say something like if your retained you will be working in your current territory in order to limit customer disruption. If that's the case then it comes down to the reps within each territory being put in a pool for that specific territory.
Therefore it sounds like if your the only rep in your territory you stay whether everyone else has better performance review rating for the years used and are within a geographic distance to take the territory.
Also, sounds like if your the only rep in a territory and they white space it, you will not be mapped to a different territory because the current reps in that territory will be considered in order to not disrupt the customer.
Totally sucks but think how cheap and easy for them to do it this way.

Maximum of 3 NP per Area. Bloodbath. Most will have 1-2. Sorry about it but it's best to GE honest

there are only 150 np reps now before any layoffs occur. there will be layoffs obviously but for a blood bath to occur, they would have to chop the entire np sales force which they already said will not happen.

They made it pretty clear that they don't plan to move people around. Everyone stays in current geography.

Agree. So if your in a geography alone & they don't white space it, your staying even with a "1" on a performance review? Different from what they did in past, but seems like that is what he said. If your "1" is in sales, territory prob white spaced anyway.
