Who was the genius that came up with this name? It's hard to say, hard to remember, hard to spell, and that's the Xartemis part. Then, they have to add the 'XR'. Why make it so hard on the doctors? Seriously.
It's like Pennsaid 2%. If they forget and write just 'Pennsaid', they get the 1.5! WTF!

Why not just name Xartemis XR: Antidisestablishmentarianism-XR-2%!
 






While it makes perfect sense to go after surgeons, they are the least interested. They have no real issues with Percocet because it is cheap and their patients are not on it for very long so they don't worry about abuse. Are they worried about their patients lack of sleep? Nope, don't care. They have enough to worry about; dealing with calling a pharmacy in advance since most refuse to stock it without a script and finding co-pay cards and calling the 1-800 number is NOT going to happen.
