I've been taking some vacation time this week prior to the holidays and have had the TV on as "background noise" while I'm wrapping gifts, etc. I've lost count how many times the www.BadRobotSurgery.com commercial has aired! All different networks, it's practically on a loop here in the Philadelphia market.
When I went to the website, it shows a YouTube video and it looks like it's customized for a specific market's hospital base. Here in Philly, it contains our local hospital info (Thomas Jefferson, Univ of PA, etc.).....guess this law firm means business!
As a former CSR, I've seen great outcomes, bad outcomes and yes, a few "robot errors". Not to mention, I've trained surgeons that probably shouldn't have performed open surgeries, much less robotic lap cases! All that said, I feel lucky to know which surgeons are "good" and whom I'd avoid at all costs.
I guess time will tell these BadRobotSurgery cases have legs?
