Wow a new power catalog

Former Linvawreck rep here. Found myself looking over the website. I noticed that there seems to be a new power catalog, wow that will help your sales. Same old power that has been around for years. What happend to the new power and new battery and charger system that was promised three years ago. In all this time HT has only been able to come with redesigning the catalog? The power platform died when RF left for Arthrex. No new power, no new video, sports medicine still appears to suck, and another retread of hip arthroscopy........bye bye....it was nice knowing you.....
 












Let us not forget over the past years the awesome crosspin set and the new and dynamic violet meniscal repair arrow.....a great new product improvement over the clear news. The only thing that keeps the doors open for Linvawreck is a few reps that can somehow continue to sell old technology to their most loyal surgeons. As far as the power catalog goes we should all be satisfied that it came out "only" 4 years after the last one, so what if is essentially the same sad products. Right now someone in Largo is sitting in a meeting blaming the sales force for still not selling power "even after we improved the catalog. We are all doomed to continue the long slide into the dumper.

The 24K pump has done one thing that I try to see as a positive, it keeps me in front of my doc once or twice a week. The reason, I have to be there every time the damn thing is being used because it never works. Literally, there is some problem every time it is turned on. It never works the same way twice, it is terrible in the knee, and the tube set is a mess. As much as I am covering his cases and showing him the great anchors we have, Arthrex watches me deal with this pump wihile three or four of his anchors get driven in. It's not even worth the gas money it takes me to get there.

Ex-Linvatec here also. Read your post, but I can not place who the RF (who left for Artrex) would be.

I left more than a year ago, when Linvatec was booting older professionals and others that seemed to me to be the one's holding the place together. New teams didn't understand the market, and considered field info to be "biased". Joe and his new team new what the company needed, or did they?

New products that were in development then were stalled so that technical types could adress regulatory and "houskeeping" issues that had been ignored for to long.
 






























Arthrex didn't even have to steal it, Linvawreck upper management just gave it to them a piece at a time by moving manufacturing to Mexico then making it obvious that Capital sales weren't part of linvawreck's future,setting things up so that anyone that knew anything about video left. But, hey we do have a new power catalog. And even better we have a new competitor in Medshapes. This will be a brand new company that will already have newer and better designed implants than Linvawreck. But.... hey we do have a new catalog, and there is always the Sequent to save us. This is really getting embarassing, we have become a laughing stock.
