Background is that my credit score from 8 years was really bad and American Express was one of the credit cards I personally owed. I never paid them back but everything is off my credit report. I would need to get an American Express Corporate card soon for Merck travels. I was wondering if they would give me one and/or Merck has to vouch for me.
I'm asking specifically about obtaining a card. Please refrain from moral lectures as I know I was in the wrong by not paying the card company back.
