Worst company ever

I am new to this forum but have been at MDL longer than most. I have seen many changes and have seen management try to sell the reps on this idea that MDL is a great place to work and a thriving company. However, this company is in fact going in the opposite direction. Mismanagement, terrible pay, constant decreasing employee benefits. The diner at our national meeting was in a cafeteria for god sake. And now the commission structures have blown up. Lower quota for sse's and significant decreases to am commission structure. Not really sure how that makes sense. Thanks commissions committee. And before one of you managers get on here and tell me to "leave" or "bust my ass" just think for a minute about all the great reps that have left over the last 2-3 yrs because of these reason. Think about the new promotions of some people who don't deserve nor have earned them. Now can you still tell me how wonderful you think MDL is. Being "lucky to have a job" is not the kind of attitude that makes companies great. And that's the problem here. So many of these women have exploited there sad stories to dr. M and he feels bad for them and promotes them and keeps them around, when in fact they couldn't hold a candle to many other great reps who deserve these positions. That's the culture here at MDL and its not going to change. The cut backs will continue also long as growth has ceased until there are no other options on the table. So my advice to everyone is to be prepared and be smart.
 






I was just offered a job with this company. Pay is low but not sure about commissions. Can you make money with this company? Do the doctors want to use the product. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

poorly run company. to put vt as sales director is like putting somebody who dropped out in the 6th grade and put them in charge of the rocket scientists handling the Voyager program for NASA. biggest mismatch of abilities I've ever seen. she has personally / single-handedly burned this company into the ground. ruined many good people's lives and now she has the masses praying for her demise. I speak Hebrew, but because I don't vt mis-directing her immature tantrums to the wrong people, i'll refrain. em got lucky and was handed a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity and vt has destroyed it. he'll be fine financially, but I often wonder to myself if he realizes how many lives have been touched by him and .... ruined. doubt it bothers him. he's been told behind closed doors about vt and what he could do to change. he played the fiddle while rome burned.

These are good questions. I'm going for an interview soon. Can anyone give me some advice. How's the comm structured? What kind of company car will I get? What about insurance?

It is an inverse commission structure in which you pay the company 10% of all your sales. In return you get a 1979 Yugo. Good luck. Oh, and as a sign-on bonus you get a free lobotomy.

really? sounds a little better than my last job where I had a foot up my ass for the better part of my tenure there. instead of a car we got a company schwinn. how's the insurance? Why is everyone not on board with this outfit? sounds like they got it going on.

yeah, well my manager tells me i'm the best she's seen. I just know I will make a lot of money here. I have found vt to be a sensitive, compassionate, caring human being who only has my best interest at heart. does anyone else think this too? I think em is the next steve jobs or bill gates. he cares about everyone equally and only puts in his pocket what is absolutely necessary; not a penny more. I was told he is so smart that they couldn't measure his iq or business savvy. I love it here. I pray every night I can keep my wonderful job. but.........if I lose my job here, I know it's because of something I did or didn't do.
