Working For Merck 2013/2014: "MISERY BY DESIGN"

I made the choice to leave toxic Merck several years ago,
but as a stockholder, I like to come on to CP to stay abreast
of what is really going on there, as oppose to reading the
corporate sloganeering Merck's PR department pays so dearly
to have placed in the financial press.

Also, as a long time employee, I occasionally offer an opinion
(just mine of course) about how Merck executives are so corrupt
as this point, they are running the company into the ground, with
complete disregard as to the wellbeing of their employees.

For those still asleep, that think that the reason things are so bad
for Merck salespeople is just accidntal, and the company really wants
to be "excellent" again...I have news for you...they could care less...

Everything Merck does these days, (and this is designed intentionally)
is done to create a work environment that is TOTALLY MISERABLE
for the vastly bloated salesforce.

Watch how this plays out people...tons of rep layoffs...and the CTLs
will almost universally keep their jobs until retirement...

savage industry...
