The key is to do what management does. Don't do any work. Just make sure you send out your emails at strange times and during Holidays and weekends to make it look like you are working long hours.

Set your alarm clock at 4 am send out an email - go back to sleep. Wake up at 7:30am go to work send out a few more emails at around 8 am. Go to meetings, read the paper, bring your bills and other home stuff to work to fill in the time. You can leave work early just make sure you wrote your emails during the day that you will then send out at 10pm just before you go to sleep and also make sure you save some emails for the weekends to.
