How do we know? Because Vagitarian said so.

Here is the wonderful non-news:

1. Gas prices are not at their highest level since 2008.
2. Current price/barrel is not just north of $91.
3. Predicted near-term price not estimated to be $100/barrel.
4. Thanks to the November election, the economy is not improving, therefore there is no upward pressure on oil prices.
5. Gas price this summer will not reach $4.00/gallon.

You read it here first, folks. Please join me in thanking the lefties for their intellectual honesty.

That's because it isn't anywere near what it was in July 2008

You are being a little disegenuous dontcha think? The bitching and moaning under Bush began when oil went above $70. So don't try to pretend there isn't a double standard here. Even Odummyfuckers most loyal sycophants aren't trying it so I guess that makes the biggest Odummyfucker bootlicker her

Liar, liar, pants on fire!

Speaking of cherry picking your figures. Here's the facts boys and girls.
Gasoline was at an all time high of the mid $4s in July, 2008. Since ILA prefers a comparison of oil by the barrel, lets try that one:

By the barrel, oil went from a July 2008 high of $147 to a December 2008 low of $32. So there's a pre-election price and a post electioon price based on the ILA standard of oil by the barrel.

Now all we havce to do is wait and see what other figures he cherry picks and then distorts claiming to be 'almost Libertarian (except no abortion and no legal Marijuana). This guy is free entertainment.

Thanks for the intro Bubba:
1. Gas prices are not at their highest level since 2008.
That's right, the high was mid $4s in July 2008, between 25 & 30% higher than now - which price do you prefer? 2. Current price/barrel is not just north of $91.
3. Predicted near-term price not estimated to be $100/barrel.
Actual prices in July 2008 were $147 barell - 50% higher than now.
4. Thanks to the November election, the economy is not improving, therefore there is no upward pressure on oil prices.
Actually, since Republicans t ook the House oil has risen - if that's this dimwits indicator5. Gas price this summer will not reach $4.00/gallon.
Maybe they will, it will still be way better than the Bush administration disaster.

Remember that your original thesis, which you stated quite vehemently several times, was that there is no oil price inflation. Your problem is that oil prices are only beginning to go up. The spot futures market for benchmark crude is already just shy of $99. We will be incredibly lucky if oil prices don't go all the way up to $200.00

At any rate, thank you for finally admitting that oil prices are rising.

I am not cherry picking anything. I haven't denied the July 2008 all time high of oil. In fact, if you remember, I famously predicted the oil bubble and shorted oil at that time. I made a very handsome profit off of that prediction.

What I am saying is that the bitching and moaning about oil prices started long before July 2008. And I even took a little time finding some proof for you.

Now, you leveled a charge that I was lying when I stated that the left wingers were caterwauling about oil/gasoline prices long before it reached its all time high. I have just shown you proof of that caterwauling going back 2 years before that all time high.

But, lets look at your logic a little more in depth shall we? You claim that we aren't really seeing energy inflation because oil prices have yet to reach their ALL TIME HIGH of $147. Well, using that same logic, we have to conclude that the stock market has not really rebounded correct? I mean after all, it has yet to return to its ALL TIME HIGH of 14,000 in October 2007 under President Bush correct?

So you either have to temper your enthusiasm about the stock market and subsequently the credit you give Odummyfucker, or you must finally admit defeat and concede that we are indeed seeing inflation in oil/gasoline prices. Your call.

But, it is clear that you owe me an apology.

And FYI, Pale Horse isn't going to be able to pull your fat out of the fire on this one ;)

Is it your contention that you must accept 100% of the tenets of a political ideology?

Hell, you are the one who famously says "I am conservative on some things, and liberal on others", yet you dare criticize others for holding opposing views of a particular ideology?

Now this is where you start stammering and stuttering about "high blood pressure" or "gold shorts" or "predictions of DOW 9000 before 11000" and things like that as you desperately try to save face

So how do you feel about a January level of $100? I don't recall this happening under Bush, do you? Think about it: If it is high now, just think about what's going to happen in the summer months.

Earth to ILA, the Dow is almost 12 now, not 11, not 10, not 9 but almost 12.
If anyone is trying to save face on that one pal. it ain't me - LOL!

Compared to Bush's $147 , ome hundred is nothing to be concerned with - is what I think.

I could be wrong but from what I've seen, P Ho thinks there all a bunch of crooks too. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we dont. I'm not looking for help just pointing out some of the glaring fallacies in your thought processes.

It must be a coincidence that you completely glossed over the central point of my post which was NOT that today's oil price is not as high as it was in 2008.

The point was that the bitching and moaning and caterwauling from left wingers such as yourself began when oil was at $80 a barrel, which we obviously passed today.

So the point was about the hypocrisy of left wingers like yourself. $80 a barrel oil under Bush? You think it is a catastrophe and assign all sorts of conspiracies.

$80 a barrel oil under your Dear Leader Odummyfucker? You don't think it is a problem and stick your head in the sand (or Odummy's ass) and pretend you don't see it.

The rest of your post was as nonsensical as always.
