Wonder if any "manager" at Amgen has seen or read...

These are very applicable at Amgen. How many of you that have left, been RIF'd, or are still there see that Amgen's best talent is either gone or looking to leave. The only survivors are Directors, EDs, and VPs who couldn't run a lemonade stand let alone manage a department/organization.

I feel for those that are still there; Amgen was a great company. Now, nothing more than a shell. Congrats, you are now officially, Big Pharma. Good luck cutting your way to your EPS committments.

amazing, those who are in charge of nothing, never achieve anything, feel qualified to comment on others capabilities. guess what, if everyone else is 'someplace' and you're not it is you not them that have failed. grow a pair and move on loser.

do you even know what this means? you couldn't be more off-track. no wonder you haven't even reached director, small wonder...

Director at Amgen? Are we supposed to be impressed? The organization is riddled with directors who could not cut it at any other firm. The threat of good Sr. managers has resulted in a circling of the wagons to protect incompetence. I am glad I am no longer at Amgen as next year will prove to be the end. BB will do everything in his power to sell the company; that is why he was brought in - mergers and acquisitions.

you hate the company so much that you are trolling around on the message board, even after you have left. LOSER

I had the honor, privilege and pleasure to work a Amgen for 8 year before getting fired in Oct. I tell you from the bottom of my heart, the 'managers' there are amongst the most professional, inteligent and organised individuals I have ever worked with. They are top drawer and do not deserve this criticism.

So what you are saying is that your professional career has only been 8 years. The vast majority of directors are there to protect EDs. Any good director who speaks up is treated as if the have the plague and are eventually let go. Amgen was a great company. When the only reason for your stock to go up is the CEO is leaving, you are in trouble.

That's not true! The reason stock go up is because we super duper. You to jealous that you not.
