Women's Health Division pay scale and products

The bonus looks OK on paper. The reality is goals are set so high that they never have to payout.
Remember they paid over a billion for Essure, someone is going down for this incredibly stupid mistake. The life of this product will never cover the cost.

$85,000 bonus target???

What's an average payout?
Can a hard working rep hit $40,000- $50,000 payout ?

It's not about working hard, when only a handful of skilled reps are making bonus, but so many more have these unbelievably high quotas that no matter how hard you work you will NEVER HIT IT OR EVEN COME CLOSE.. With three adjusted bonus/quota already this year, you should already see an issue.
If anyone makes 100% on all three products this year, they stand to make some great money but when that's less than 5% of the sales force, it's all smoke and mirrors.

The company is transitioning to device so it is going through growing pains. Yes, the bonus is high at 100%. Payout however starts at 50%, so do the math.... 85 avg base + 65 bonus to start. Even at 50%, you will be ok. That of course, if 130's- 160's is OK for you. The days of 200,000 $ device jobs are over anywhere. It's not a bad gig but without OR experience it may be hard to get in. The Legacy Bayer reps who survived the numerous cuts got a device job handed to them. Some are excellent, some still are adjusting to a whole new way to work. The answers here have been pretty accurate. Good Luck

Thanks for information on your bonus structure and pay out. this info is not public. now someone will make a nice fat fee by re packaging and selling your kindness to a competitor.

Are we really worried about a competitor taking this information? You have GOT to be kidding. What they will know is that WHC leadership consistently changes the plan, lies about the potential to make bonus and makes it totally impossible to make that nice fat bonus no matter how hard you work. We aren't all lazy workers in this division, we aren't all complainers either. Our reps are ripe for the picking because we are tired of the home office song and dance.

I am considering a position. What is the deal with a non-compete agreement? It sounds like it is expected when accepting the position.
It seems outdated in the era of frequent lay offs to want people to sign a broad non-compete.

Pay is not what you think. Most of us have base salary of 85k although new people are getting salaries of 95 plus. Thanks JS for that. Makes sense to give new people better salary then your best reps. No one made money this year in the front half and some will in the back but the majority of the country is down 30 percent in revenue so total payout with your better base than me you could count on 135
