Watched the Early show this morning on results of a study from the More Magazine concerning women and careers. 92% of women said "flexibility" was among the top perks of a job, even if they had to take lower pay. Thanks PDI for this perk! Hang in there, we are all behind you and want to do a good job! Thanks Tamiflu for beieving in us for the seventh year, yesterday was awesome in the offices as the samples arrived!

Thanks for paying us substandard hourly pharmaceutical wages with no benefits.

Thanks for paying us only $10 per call for Fenoglide calls even though you paid us $20+ when the program started. What a ripoff! Putting the extra $10 in managements pocket no doubt.

Thanks for giving all my good Tamiflu customers away to the Genetech e detailing group.

Thanks for not giving us even 1 paid holiday Not even Christmas or ironically Thanksgiving!

Thanks for paying us less than the goverment approved mialage rate.

Thanks for giving us 0 paid vacaction days . Even though you give prorated paid vacation to other " part time " PDI employees. Check the employee hanbook on this one folks if you dont believe me.

Thanks for after losing the Enablex contract taking all the money that Warner Chilcott paid you for breaking the contract and putting in your pockets only.

Thanks for negotioating a 5% shared paractice on Tamiflu when we had 15- 20% shared paractice 3 years ago.

Thanks for giving us 0% shared practice calls for NOV and December. You made it impossible to make my calls.

Thanks for demanding we get a signatures on every call even though no one else in the industry does this for detail only calls.

Thanks for the 200 emails per month . Even when many of us are finished all our calls after 2 -3 weeks.

Thanks for all the PDI Compliance wire courses that we dont get paid for but we are required to take.

Thanks for threataning to fire us every time we dont get a 90 % on a test.

Thanks for delaying bonus payment on a consistent basis and then sending a threatening e mail every time we are late on a project you gave us last minute notice to do.

It is what it is, all of the above offered on a flex time basis. I am the original OP, and it works for me. I am also thankful for the $2.00 extra for admn time, you forgot to be thankful for.

Great post! Yes, the Paradise Lounge has provided many of us the ability to show off our most important assets in an inviting environment . . . . . assets that many of us didn't know we had! It doesn't hurt to try out. So glad to be away from all of the Tamiflu BS.

Why would you not expect to be paid what you deserve and receive benefits that others in your company who work the same amount of hours you do?

You deserve those benefits as much as they do.

Dont you work just as hard?

If part timers in other divsions of PDI get prorated paid vacation days, sick days etc, Why is it not the case for Select Access reps who work equivalent hours?


This is a double standard that a labor attorney could take the company to task on.

When you say "it is what is " You either identify yourself as management or you are completely brainwashed.

Are you in the Tea Party ? Married to management ? believe in Santa Claus?


Attitudes like yours have let our political leaders let millions of jobs be outsourced to 3rd world countries so that Coorporate America can gain profits and lower the standard of living for Middle Class American workers.


Dont you think it is time for American workers to expect more from their political leaders to protect the American workers righjts?

Why are you so willing to accept less?


If you get a $ 2.00 admin raise for Tamiflu calls and they have taken away half your calls you are losing money. Do the math.

I choose to be with this company, and as most companies things change or not as management sees fit. I don't think about the comparisons you have pointed out. I am pretty happy, and it works for me. You make your choices in life, this is my choice to be with a company with these characteristics. There are so many more things I like about this company than not. And yes I am a rep, not management.

For those of us who need this income to either supplement or support our family income, this has been the worst year to make money here even with the $2.00 admin. pay. Small contracts, broken contracts and management's restrictions, have made a joke of this job. We are Pharmaceutical Reps but we are all piss poor. Used to be, we had a shot to make $30 grand a year but not any longer. For an educated American, that's pathetic!

I love the flex time and the continued employment other companies do not offer their reps. Do you think PDI likes these bad times anymore than the rest of us? Anyone that has a job is fortunate, better times are coming. Stay the course and do the best job you can, we can insure our future.

For those of us who need this income to either supplement or support our family income, this has been the worst year to make money here even with the $2.00 admin. pay. PP - there are reallyt no choices right now when it comes to employment - especially if your employment history includes being a pharma rep - employers steer far away from us.
