Woe to You O' Bausch and Lomb
for the Devil (Valeant) sends it's beasts with wrath

Word in the hallway today is the closing on July 12th and every manager must be able to contact employees on vacation on July15th.

I can only hope that in the future while Michael Pierson, Fred Hassan and Howard Schiller are sitting in their multimillion dollar houses on some island, that their conscience catches them. Their livers will be rotting, their children hate them, their wives will have left and all they have is the money that they ransacked from destroying legacy companies. These legacy companies who created the wealth through innovation and grit. History will remember these pigs as failures, reapers who did nothing but pillage.
 






This Ponzi scheme will collapse and 160 years of Bausch and Lomb will end in less than 5. There will be no way to regain the brand name once the trust is lost. Thanks Wallboard Sphincter aka WP for dressing us up for an IPO, lolling us in a false security only to sell us out to the Canadian butcher, so much for your legacy as well.
 


















B&L lost its name years ago. Decline started when they were cooking the books in rochester to falsify reports for wall street. been a third tier brand ever since. It's been over a decade since B&L had any status.

Everyone should have already or do it this weekend, and update your resumes, LinkedIn accounts. What better way then to get your severance and... have a new positioned lined up. Fresh start people. Fresh start. Quit you complaining and actually do something productive than coming and cruising the threads for "news". The real news will come after the fact.
This has been one hell of a ride! NOW GO OUT THERE AND FIND SOME ADVENTURES WORTH SINKING YOUR TEETH INTO!

Are you British? You are off the mark. Nothing happens at B&L without 6 months of meetings first. We have all kinds of time before any layoffs.

So true! The amount of false hope on these boards amazes me. Some people won't listen until the phone call happens a day after the close. Less than 3 weeks people. I already have one job offer and in the process with two other companies. I'll take my severance and get a chuckle from all of the reps that kept working for a bonus that doesn't exist.
