Currently in interview process for a position in the Midwest. It has come down to myself and one other candidate with similar experience. She and myself are in the same specialty so we know each other. My question is wether you think having a few high profile physicians send in a recommendation to the hiring manager is an effective strategy for landing this position? I would have them call, txt or email the manager directly. Is it too much or a good strategy?
