Will hiring DM call with offer on 23rd or P1?

I know that this may sound like a silly question,but I really want to prepare myself for Monday. I of course am hoping that I will be one of the MS new hires. Who will be making the calls for those that are getting an offer from Genentech? Will Genentech DM's give out offers and P 1 hand out the No's??? Just wondering if anyone has any insight.

Unfortunately, P1 has already been handing out the no's and contacting candidates with the bad news. So, if you have haven't gotten that call yet, maybe you will be selected.

Just trying to figure out for those that have not gotten a "no" from P1 at this point-- is there a group that received the call to provide additional info and background check and a second group that received a call that you were still in the running (but no additional info needed at this time)? Is this based on first and second choice or time/week of interview? Thanks for any insight on this.

Consider yourself lucky If P1 contacted you in anyway after phone screen. I was told by both hiring manager and P1 that I would be advised of my status. Unfortunately, never heard a peep after phone screen. I know I am out but that is not a way to run a company. I wish you all success, Genetech is a great company!!!
 






External here....pretty sure I was up against a strong internal....were they waiting to let go of Externals on Monday, or at the time the internal accepted? Asked for my Options to be sent, but nothing more...so I am fairly certain I am not 1st choice. No background link after option info sent to them.

I'm also an external but up against another external. I was told I would be receiving the link for background check, references, etc but I never did. I was asked to provide documentation of money left on table but never got the link. Haven't heard anything since and don't know what to think. Good luck to everyone! I'm looking forward to this process being over soon, one way or another.

In my case, the link didn't come immediately after the P1 call stating they were coming. P1 called saying I was under active consideration and links were coming. E-mail with that information came immediately and bottom of e-mail said links would be coming and to check for them. Somebody from HQ called to verify some of my bonus information, etc. and the links came immediately after the end is that call. Has anybody from HQ been in contact. Maybe that is the next step? E-mail P1 and ask.
