It is now obvious that Wilate has been a dismal failure. I think this is very unfortunate and I feel badly for the people involved. Have they started to scapegoat reps yet? Who is in/out?

I'll tell you why it was (is) a failure. They brought reps in from Grifols who cant sell and then they bring in an Ex Grifols manager who can teach, train or sell and looks like John Wayne Gacy. That ought to tell you why it is a failure.

Please re read the post in question. You will not find the word "recombinant" anywhere in it. The overwhelmimg number of VWD patients are being treated with DDAVP.
 






The factor market for VWD is actually quite small, as most patients only need treatment for surgeries and acute injury, and most of these get DDAVP instead. There are very few type 3 patients out there that need factor on a regular basis. The real market for factor is in hemophilia.

I thought it was a GIVEN that the drug was a piece of crap. Anoter failure of the Grifols people to come over and try and make a run of this. They were lousy at Grifols. Not much better here.
