WHY?

Isn't all that is going on at this company right now in the pharma trade news? Arena laid off 66 employees and that was well-publicized. Why is there nothing about the plan underway to cut 50% of Eisai's employees?

Eisai does not layoff people, it merely eliminates their positions! OB won't say he is layingoff people; he will state Eisai will be restructuring and will eliminate 300 positions.

Eisai is a private company in the us so they don't have to announce layoffs publicly.

Whatever they do, it will likely be in their usual non-classy and disrespectful manner.

Don't worry. This is a small industry. The recruiters know, and they talk to each other and everybody else. Works better than a press release.

Eisai is a private company, they don't need to share anything with anyone. They only share information that they feel will put the company in a better light.

Also, remember, they said they are not having layoffs, so nothing to report. They WILL fire most before the real layoffs are actually announced. They are very slimey and corrupt.

Yesssss....and that is what I love about the good old USA. There are plenty of lawyers ready to take on THAT potential class action law suit. Bottom line: Good people who are trying to do their job should NOT be fired.
