This is what they've done in the past few months. They have laid off about 80% of their sales force. Then they waited a week, and reposted openings in those same areas...only now it's "commission only". Anytime this company has a money crunch they go right to the sales force. I understand a business needs office personell but not nearly as much as it needs sales people. Here's the thing. This company was setup to make money off the govt. (texas medicaid) from day one. That is ALWAYS a recipe for disaster because legislation dictates the direction of your company. Well guess what, legislation changed. Texas medicaid booted all name brand products off its list and now the company is in dire straights. Listen, I was not one of the detractors at this company. Even when they took the fastest growing part of my territory away from me at the peak of cough/cold season. I stayed with it, kept plugging away. They only sent me samples they felt like sending me...not ones i requested. I still kept my mouth shut and kept plugging away. I never had a negative performance review. I just got a phone call one day telling me that I was being let go with a 2 week severance, and my insurance would be cut off in that amount of time as well. Ladies and gentlemen I strongly urge you to look elsewhere before considering joining this company. I hope you'll take this into consideration.
