Why would we congratulate Ted on any award?

As far as I'm concerned, he did very little and had very little interaction with the company and sales force. He sold us off and made multiple millions of dollars. The very few time he interacted with the sales force it was via a TelePrompTer. Out of all the companies I have worked, Ted has had the least involvement or interaction with the sales force. I would say the same thing about Scott B. as well.

I agree. He had no personality and no ounce of sincerity in this company or team. Just out to make himself and buck and he got them. Plus a last Hawaii trip on the company tab. Why would he go to Hawaii after selling us off, other than to get a free vacation for he and his wife. Same goes with SB.

I have nothing bad to say about either of them. One started the company and they both did their jobs. However, in light of the hell the rest of us are going through lately it was an unnecessary message .

Obviously not Cadence posters. Ted was around quite frequently at all of our meetings (Who has seen a CEO at any big pharma POA lately) and Scott was around 10x more. Mallinckrodt sucks, I agree. Everything has changed the way we knew it. However, weren't most of these Cafepharma posts disgruntled before the price change and/or buy-out? Personally, I was pretty happy with the way things were going and now not so much. Good for Ted for making a buck and good for Scott for leaving with dignity before this mess. And before we get there, good for Randy too. The writing is on the wall. The question is do we wait it out to try to get a bit of the profit they are "offering", or try to jump ship and potentially go to something else that may not be as lucrative. The industry has changed, folks. It's not 10 years ago. The grass is always greener. Unfortunately, that's the industry now.

I agree with the other posts. Ted was never around other the the Obligatory speech he gave at national meetings. Very little field communication if ever. Staying simply for the extra money at Mallinckrodt is stupid. There are several companies out there that offer much better packages. Yes PHARMA is PHARMA, but you may as well go with a company that has a wonderful benefits package and this company doesn't..

Yes, that announcement was a joke. For those that want to defend Ted I personally don't get except for the fact it was all business and he plans on starting something again and selling it off for millions. But no one can actually say he cared about the sales force nor worried about our futures. I had conversations with the man and he always seems very disingenuous. I'm sorry but I feel that way. You can be a great leader and want to make a lot of money, but there are great leaders that actually care about their people and are approachable. He was neither.
