What is up with this ? At one time, there were 13 different openings in New Jersey. Why?
Looking to go smaller company...company I am with is laying off at end of year. What is Warner-CHilcott like to work for?

Dont believe him/her/ WC is a crap company that treats its employees poorly. In my district there has been constant turn overs and lay offs. Everyone on my team is looking for a new job. DO NOT COME HERE.

Be honest, what division are you in? My experience is awesome. Of course I am in Womens Health too.

Yea, we are expanding. It is because WC is rated as one of the highest turnover in employment than any major Company out there. Over 2000 has come and gone since 2010. Wow! Plus, just check their P&L statement, Company sucks. Plus, they are under investigation by Feds. Google it, you will see! You do know how to do some background research on a Company?

If you did background research on ANY Pharma company you would find shit. Look at Pfizer, BMS, Bayer, Astra right now..idiot. Also, if you knew what cafe Pharma was, you wouldnt come on here asking for honest advice about a place to work, because if you have looked at any other boards on other companies, it's all filled with trash. That being said, I will say that your experience at WC will depend on your location, your division and who your manager is. Wow; sounds like every other job in Pharma right? I know, cause it is. The pay here is good. Starting between 55-75/year. Our benefits are amazing. We have 10 dollar co pay and they cover 90% of bill for procedures. Company car, big expense acct, and cell phone reimbursement. Company car is a choice between ford Taurus or dodge charger. Pretty nice for such a shitty company right? Lastly, you will want to see what division you are applying for. Women's Health and Uro are the top two. Wow, what do you know, an honest answer!

I agree w/ this review. I'm in the Uro division and am extremely happy. The benefits and opportunity for bonus are great! The company is like any other company ....they expect performance. I think that's fair :)

Womens health here working on a 25k bonus check. Yea, it's well worth it. But, if you don't sell, you will be gone. Simple as that! Worth the shot though.

WC a great company?...hahaha. How does "leveraging" Drs and wikipedia articles as sales tools sound? The company has many tools...like mgmt for example...or those who advocate that this is an honest company.

There really aren't 13 openings in NJ. There are 13 positions in NJ and a couple of openings. This is done as a threat to current sales reps.

TRUTH: there's always openings b/c the company has a get them in, get them out mentality. average WC lifespan is 12-18 months regardless of division. The dinosaurs in Urology blow their bosses and still hold their weak salaries and "great benefits". they rotate reps faster than any company in the industry. no respect from MD's, regardless of division. once you peak your market (or they feel you peaked) you're done. PIP and out, next please? Do some research or just google the lawsuits against this company. Disgruntled employees? Sure there are, but WC is one tenth of the size of Pfizer and has 10 times the amount of turnover and fires. Good "break in company"? LOL, everybody's trying to break OUT of pharma. healthcare's changed and nobody needs a rep to "educate" or drop samples of products. good luck!

This is very true. Spent 18 months at WC and was PIP'd by an RVP who thought I couldn't sell based of OC numbers. Had a good DM that was supportive and talented, learned a lot from him. Like most pharma companies the success or failure of a Rep has as much or more to do with formularly coverage in the area as it does with talent. I got lucky and got a territory manager job with a device company and 3 years later I am now a DM, so much for lack of sales talent, more like lack of being able to overcome $75 co-pays consistently. Funny thing was I was actually making money.

Take the advice of a stranger, do your 12-18 months and get the F out. It is hard enough to break the pharma stereotype if you eventually want to make some money in device/equipment, add A long stint at a chop shop like WC to your resume and you will have a difficult time. This company is known in industry, and that was before all the recent legal issues.

The one saving grace is it takes much more sales aptitude to succeed at Warner than most other drug companies, make sure you talk this up in an interview. Highlight the cutthroat atmosphere, ability to overcome cost objections, selling/succeeding in a saturated and competitor-rich market. Most importantly talk about the fact you took the pharma job to get your foot in the med sales industry and you are looking for a more challenging, fast paced, true sales environment, eager to move to the next step in your personal career goals. If someone said that to me in an interview out of pharma it would get my attention.

Any hints as to what medical device company you work for? And do you have any openings in the Delaware/Philadelphia, PA area?

great post polyanna

Women's Health and Uro are the top two. How does Gastro compare? Does WC hire people with only a b2b background?

Yes, they hire strict b2b background as long as you have some documented sales rankings for performance. Gastro is the 3rd best division
1- Women's Health
2- Uro/GYN
3- Gastro
4- Derm
5- Osteo
