Why is Amgen IC so bad?

-misaligned accounts
-incorrect SGA reports
-missing sales credit
-incorrect baselines
-lack of critical data (ex. Publix, Assembia, Accredo, Anthem, Magellan, etc)
-incorrect Kaiser flags
-GEO vs Non GEO
-incorrect GI flags
-late reports
-no transparency

why is it that day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year nothing ever gets fixed...it's always the same...IC plays the slow game and hope we just go away....why does AMGEN tolerate this type of performance?

Easy. Because Amgen's philosophy is that you are lucky to work here and if you don't like it leave. So people after they figure that out, smarter people more quickly, leave and Amgen doesn't care.

My SGA is way off and I know it's Accredo.

They should at least be honest about it. Instead, they secretly say they took care of it.

If so, why is everyone like me with a bunch of Blue Cross Blue Shield seeing such SGA declines?

Always hilarious when multiple reps from same area win Chairman’s…nothing to do with huge managed care win or specialty pharmacy capture ;)

everything to do with being BOLD and having an awesome manager :D

We have bigger problems than IC whimpering. How about our dwindling sales, weak pipeline, huge tax liability, and the feds threatening to 4x tax companies for stock buybacks? Pfizer, NVS and Merck just announced they are no longer seeking companies under 2 billion. All are looking for mega deals in 2023, I assure you that our pillars fit into their plans, especially Mrk. Think we're too big to get bought? Wrong. Think Bob and the boys won't sell us down the river for a big payout? Wrong. Do your own research on the matter, 2023 will be transitional alright. Upon such a possible deal closing, 90% of all Amgen employees would be severed. The remaining 10% would be business critical leads in R & D, legal, and manufacturing. Others would survive if they worked at one of the companies and have strong connections.

So stop your IC pity party rants, we have got bigger problems. Remember (hint), most people clean their house before selling it. Do your own research on the matter. Yeah you'll get a hefty severance, but make it last because 20k other employees may be looking for work at the same time.

Could this happen? Definitely. Will it be Amgen? Maybe. This year will be one of mega pharma deals.

Mic drop

One can only hope. Our IC is so terrible, a buyout is the only way to clean it up

The attitude is:

1- reps are lucky to get any IC and as administrators we hate you
2- we work for ZS and IQVIA, not you
3-you will take what we say India says you get and don't dare ask about it
4-did we mention we hate reps and resent them?

please, please buy us and clean this place up. I have at least 20 more years to work and this is not acceptable

Grow up. this is all incorrect

Agree with OP. Been here over 5 years and there is no rhyme or reason to numbers? The numbers make zero sense, and a lot of turnover has occurred due to poor sales payouts!

we continue to bleed the best reps because of IC. How can we not get credit for Accredo and Publix in Florida and expect to compete? They left the baseline in but my SGA is no where.

the best will continue to leave and we are left with duds who won't question the accountants who work for ZS
