Why have 1/2 Iluyma salesforce left? Considering offer but seems sketchy

interviewed to join Iluyma team. I read all these posts before interview but thought it may be disgruntled employees. Hiring manager and even recruiter said “higher then average turnover” due to some previous TMs got overwhelmed with the start up process and had nothing to do with quality of Ilumya.
I don’t know if that’s a crock but can some I get some honest answers why so many people have jump shipped? Salary discussed was good with car but it is starting to sound like I’d be walking into a fire.

Here’s the deal:

Turnover rate on Ilumya team runs 40% to 50%. Fact.
Reason- first, many were misled during interviews around clinical data, and organizational readiness. Launch, by any measures, was a 360 degree failure, as even the most basic tactics were not in place or they were sub-par. Finger pointing is rampant. I really can’t think of a single thing that was well developed or well executed, it’s like all the wheels fell off (but we didn’t have all the wheels to start with).

There’s not trust, confidence or respect towards ‘leadership’. The two NSDs pull the company line of BS, then both bailed two weeks apart. Half of RMs quit. Backfilling their positions was nearly impossible. Some territories are on their 3rd TM in a first year in market. What does all that tell you ?

The CEO settled insider trading charges with the India version of the SEC, all while espousing his integrity here. This news broke the same week he went on a total rant of threatening the salesforce at POA.

With all sincerity, if you need a job and benefits immediately to provide for your family, that’s understood.
But, if you’re in a position to continue looking, that’d be better.

Ilumya is a really good drug and rarely will you hear negatives from a “honestly tried the drug” kind of Doc. The three areas in the country will make a difference as to your future. East might be a mistake as there is a great deal of anarchy presently. West can be sketchy and depends on your manager. Central is rock solid. This job is usually what you make it. If you lack imagination it might be tough for you.

So amazing that you can boil down the whole show here to be dependent on what region you’re in.
You’re sooo strategic!

All regions have had above average turnover. Way more than industry standard. Resignations will increase in Dec/Jan as next wave of TMs go to UCB. They are collecting a paycheck and riding out their time here until they leave.
If you need check to support family as previous poster said that’s understandable you have to do what you have to do. But if you can hold it for something better.

come January 1 a lot of TMs will be gone.
A lot of territories don’t have FRMs, MSLs, no support because they’ve all resigned. Some people have such large territories it’s insane, not possible and the pressure is bullshit. People have had it here. So doc when your 2-4th ilumya rep walks in the door you know things aren’t good at Sun. Good drug but it never had a chance.

Follow up;
KF I would not recommend saying “go sell something” to a sales force that pushed through enough investigations to be at 300% to goal only to have the FRMs whiff on it and the sales force not be paid. Sun leadership is now known industry wide for the ineptness. It was at best insulting.

A lot of us caught that and thought what an ass. Insulting for sure.

KF should have listened to the folks that led that had the biologic launch experience. Also, six months into launch KF could only say “we are still learning”...his ass should be fired. He should have known.

The only way to get any credibility is to fire them all. Obviously nothing went right, nothing. Start at the top and take 5 people.
